Hour 10

I'm back from work and anxious to get back to my reading. In the last three hours I've managed to read a whopping 18 pages of The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart. I think it may be time to break out a book that I've really been looking forward to and head to the back porch swing. My choices are: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry, Coraline by Neil Gaiman or Slam by Nick Hornby. Any suggestions about which one will grab my interest fast?

My chief distraction i.e. boyfriend has decided to make up for his near constant talking this morning by making me a steak dinner. I can almost forgive him.

My bf talks constantly when I am trying to read, too! Then, when I put it out he stops for about five seconds and starts up again! lol Happy reading!

I'm a fan of either Coraline or the Graveyard Book. Both would be good, quick reads.

I really liked The Disreputable History. Sorry it isn't grabbing your attention.

Best of luck with the Read-a-Thon!

Disreputable History takes some getting into...at least from my opinion. Can't say about the others. I'll have to wait for your review! :) Sounds like a good dinner awaiting you. Best of luck!
